Jonny Adair (born 27 October 1963) is a former loyalist paramilitary leader from Northern Ireland. He was the leader of the Ulster Freedom Fighters (UFF) in the early 1990s and later became the leader of the Ulster Defence Association (UDA) in the Shankill Road area of Belfast. Adair was known for his involvement in numerous sectarian killings during the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
Adair was arrested and jailed multiple times for his involvement in various criminal activities and was eventually expelled from the UDA due to alleged drug dealing. He then formed his own paramilitary group called "C Company" and became a prominent figure in the Northern Ireland conflict.
After a feud with other loyalist paramilitary groups, Adair was forced to flee Northern Ireland in 2003 and sought refuge in England. He was later arrested in 2004 and convicted of conspiring to murder and sentenced to 16 years in prison.
Adair was released in 2010 and has since become a controversial figure due to his far-right views and links to neo-Nazi groups. He has also been involved in various criminal activities and has been arrested several times, including in 2018 for allegedly assaulting prison staff.
